2.5MW KARA wood waste boiler in Scotland! 🔥

Earlier this year we completed a routine service on this 2.5MW KARA system. Because of the nature of the customer's production process, the boiler is fed with wet wood chips.

Burning wet wood brings its own challenges. Because of this the system is designed with a specialized furnace, tertiary air supply for complete and clean combustion, and a steep grate to optimize performance! 🛠️
